.ME.UK Domains Available Now, .EU and .DE Coming Soon!

.ME.UK DOMAINS AVAILABLE NOW, .EU AND .DE COMING SOON!

We have just released the newest addition to our TLD table and that is the .me.uk top level domain name. It is available for registration for our clients through their Web Hosting Control Panel under the Domain Manager menu. This TLD is very similar to the .uk in terms of requirements.
Just in case lets go through them once again:
- Domain Name can be registered for two years only
- Domain name renewals can be done only for two years.
- Renewals are only possible if a domain name has exactly 6 months (or less) to the expiration and not before that. Renewal requests processed only during the 5-month period before the expiration date
- WHOIS info cannot be altered directly from our Web Hosting Control Panel. Instead Nominet (the .uk registry) must be contacted directly from the owner of the domain name.

New TLDs coming soon – .EU and .DE!
The .EU and .DE top-level domains are to be available shortly, as well. They have the following specifications:

.EU – Since this TLD stands for European Union, only residents and organizations based in the EU can own such a domain name. The registration of a .eu domain name is possible only for 1 year in advance. Renewal is also possible only for one year in advance and requests can be received until the expiration date for the domain name but cannot be later than 20th of every month. Whois protection is not available.

.DE – This is a country top level domain for Germany. For a registration process to be successful the postal address as a whole must be a German one for the administrative contact details. If this requirement is not met, or the address is incorrect, DENIC may reject the registration process. There is no WHOIS protection for .de TLDs. The domain name can be registered for 1 to 10 years.
