Advanced PHP settings available inside the Web Hosting Control Panel

We are extremly happy to inform you that the PHP setting menu have been updated with a lot of new options which no doubt will come in handy since customizing your PHP settings is frequently used by both advanced and novice users alike.

Till now our clients could change the PHP version for their hosting accounts with us through the PHP settings menu within the Web Hosting Control Panel.

As for today you can not only do that but much much more. You can change the php settings for your php.ini file for values such as register_globals, short_open_tag or zend_optimizer and much more with just one click.

Next to each value there is thorough info about what exactly does the value do and how will that affect your php driven pages or scripts.  Changing the value is done by clickin the corresponding checkbox  from on to off and otherwise.

With this now available you will never need to go through the long way that used to be t he only option: by going through the File Manager, locating the /sys folder and editing the php.ini file manually.

You can now choose how to edit the php.ini file. In BASIC mode which ill allow you to switch on and off different values simply by clicking on them, or you can go into ADVANCED mode and see all the php settings and edit them manually yourself.

You have already seen the Basic Mode, so lets take a look at the Advanced mode in order for you to get a better idea of the capabilities you will have editing the php.ini file.
