2007 – A RETROSPECTIVE LOOK BACK
[01/21/2008]
We will be taking a moment to make an evaluation of the year 2007 for our company and you as our customers. As you would probably know the year 2007 has been beaming with ingenious ideas and beneficial partnership between us as a company and you as our customer. What seems to be a whole year has been just a moment for us, because there is never enough time to realize all ideas and compete and strive to be one of the most competitive service providers out there. We have provided numerous updates to various existing services as introducing a couple of brand new ideas that we managed to realize. Most of those updates and new features we must admit have come from you – our valued customers. We are grateful that you do take time to send us your ideas and recommendations. They mean a lot to us. We hope to strengthen this relationship with our customers and continue working in this pattern. Let us now take a look back to the things we introduced in the year of 2007 to you, our customers.
Probably the most important event was the release of the Domain Manager. You can now manage all domain names from one place and have full control over all things related to the domain names in general. You can now register a domain name for not only one year but several instead. You can change name servers, park a domain name, lock or unlock a domain name, change your WHOIS information for whichever domain name you wish, activate a WHOIS ID protection, have your EPP authorization key for a specific domain name, transfer a domain name to your account or simply host it with us.

The new DNS Records menu now has even a wider range of features include. You can setup a TXT, AAAA or CNAME records in addition to the already existing NS, MX and A records.
The Upgrade section of the Web Hosting Control Panel (WHCP) has been refurbished as well as the Add Services menu and new services and features have been added. We do tend to think that both menus have been made more user friendly to use.
The option called Set up New Account would let you purchase a brand new account almost instantly without having to go through all the setup options you usually go through.
The Elefante (Free Scripts) Installer has been given much thought and has been made a much easier program to use, with easier and comprehensive script installation process.
Administration Tools had a new add-on – the so called .htaccess generator, satisfying the need of an advanced tool for generating an .htaccess file for numerous reasons.
We have two new lingual allies – Dutch and Romanian –and the Web Hosting Control Panel can now be used in those new languages.
Visit Store is something we introduce so you can go to our website with just a click to check our latest offers or special promotions as well as new services.
The Round Cube was the new webmail software that we added in addition to the existing Horde and Supreme Mail which is bar far the most advanced way to control your e-mail accounts through a web browser.
Numerous new TLD extensions (top-level domain names) were offered to the list of domain names you can transfer or register with us from your Web Hosting Control Panel. The ability to purchase WHOIS ID Protection for a domain name was also introduces as well as the option to register/renew a domain name for several (up to 10) years.
Our Network admins did not take the year off either. They have been busy with enhancing the stability and productivity of our main resource – our servers! New hardware and new machines have been introduced as well as major software updates such as PHP5 and MySQL5 Library.
Our Billing system did suffer some heavy changes and upgrades, most of which on the backend, but let’s not forget the multi-currency billing option and PayPal PRO to further enhance the stability and security of your purchases online either from your Web Hosting Control Panel or the Web Store one.
To sum up all 2007 has certainly been an eventful year for us full of projects innovations and upgrades. But wait until you see what we have installed for you for this year 2008. Striving to always go forward is our main goal and we certainly will do our best to do so. But please have a look at some of the things we plan to introduce this year:
